Unit Objectives
Unit Objectives are detailed responses to the IB Syllabus Statements. We will focus on the relevant statements for each unit. Think of this as a more organized form of a study guide. You will be able to look back at these statements when studying for cumulative exams.
Complete your UOs in a dedicated spiral notebook. It is required that you physically write down your UO in a notebook unless you have accommodations that specify the use of electronics. For my reasoning on this, read the following study, attached at the bottom of this paragraph:
Aragón-Mendizábal, Estíbaliz, et al. “A Comparative Study of Handwriting and Computer Typing in Note-Taking by University Students.” Comunicar, vol. 24, no. 48, 2016, pp. 101–107., doi:10.3916/c48-2016-10.
Since there are many statements to cover, use each page wisely of your notebook wisely.
UOs will be checked only for completion on the date that they are due.
UOs will be more thoroughly checked once a quarter.
